Although it took Us almost 3 years to make this wedding day finally happened, it sure was worth the wait!
This wedding hits a little extra close to home, as Bree just happens to be one of my (Courtney’s) long time best friends. I remember the day very clearly, the one when she told me about Aleasha, and I knew right then and there that my best friend had just found her soul mate.
The planning started in mid 2020, for March 5th of 2022 when the wedding was meant to be held on Bree’s family’s property in north Georgia. A tented soiree in the middle of nowhere, which was truly the most perfect spot for these two. However, just two months before the wedding, there was a devastating fire on the property, which caused a few changes to the plan…
Fast forward exactly one year later, and we were gearing up for a wedding in Florida, also on March 5th.
Wedding day started bright and early at their venue, The Vineyards at Black Willow Ranch, with the help of Laura Reynolds Artistry to get everyone all dolled up. Not long into the morning, the rest of the wedding party arrived to join in on the fun. Soon enough, Oak & Iron Photography began capturing the couple’s details while the girls were getting final touch-ups. In the meantime, Associate Just Us Planner, Samantha, as well as Blooms by Martha Dawn began there setup throughout the property. Bree and Aleasha gowned thereafter, had first looks with their fathers (and grandfather), then moved on to the most precious first look we’ve seen in quite a while. Both ladies had the biggest smiles on their faces, and it was obvious to anyone on property that day just how in love they truly are.
After their first look, these two snuck off for a few minutes of portraits, followed by pictures with each of their respective wedding parties, and then all together as a whole.
As the sun began to lower and guests started to arrive, DJ Shane Entertainment set the mood for the ceremony perfectly, accompanied by beautiful & wholesome florals from Blooms by Martha Dawn. The ceremony kicked off with the processional, even including Bree and Aleasha’s two golden retrievers, Koda & Zoey, who in their moment, rightfully stole the show.
Next thing we knew, Bree and Aleasha were reading their vows, exchanging rings, and soon announced as wife & wife!
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the ranch’s patio area for cocktail hour, catered by Honeysuckle Restaurant & Catering with one of the most beautiful grazing tables I’ve ever seen. Guests were then asked to find their seats for dinner and the wedding party kicked off the grand entrance, followed by the newlyweds, leading directly into their first dance, which included some serious crowd-hyping from DJ Shane. Honeysuckle Restaurant & Catering served a home-style dinner buffet style, toasts were made, the wedding cake (from Publix) was cut and the party officially began celebrating the newlyweds!
Just Us was so incredibly honored to be a part of such a wonderful celebration, especially with this one hitting so close to home. Congratulations friends, and happiest beginnings on your newest adventure!
XOXO Samantha & Courtney
